Here is one that has been asked.
What kind of support would there be if RR would offer a Mini-MAX/ Tag Cadet class for 2008?
I think it can be done as a local option.
Yeahs or Nays

Would they have to run on ERC fuel or "Pump Gas" like the Rotax Max drivers in sprint???????

I think all participants at the conference should read the article that the below link shows. The issues discussed in the article are just the start of the conversation and all voting members at the conference really need to pay attention to what is being discussed.

What is there is happening here and we need to address those same issues to retain participation.

Suggested by an individual to add wording in the Gold Cup rules on scoring if race is called for inclement weather ie: darkness, snow, sleet etc. by Race Director to award points as per 800.13 in the IKF rule book.

Yes please from 4 PKA members. Asking for support now is pretty tough without the actual classes being offered yet. We have one Jr who may or may not be ready yet but knowing the option is there is a bonus for him and PKA.

As noted below in the other forum here are some other ideas to consider. I know some notes are probably PKA issues only but figured why not list them as they relate to our program.

Mini-MAX/ Tag Cadets-
-Previous sprint experiance required (or a solid voucher from an adult driver stateing sprint training)
-Heavy off track rr instruction (I'll do it)
-Practice sessions with senior guidance (lapping car)
-End of day race for little guys (short 20 min due to small tanks)
-Set gearing in order to control speed.

Other 08 topics (PIR rr only)

-1 day events only
*Saving $ for all runners
*Saving lodging fees for runners
*Cutting PKA weekend overall costs

-Skipping the hour long lunch break
*Time wasted in the middle of the day can be used towards programs like cadets.
*PKA to purchase box lunches then deliver them to corner workers as we have done in the past.

-Reserve the right (race director or otherwise) to move ahead of schedule or modify race length on days where weather is an issue.
*Cut practice if rain is coming in order to race dry
*Shorten races when needed to keep all groups in dry weather then offer open practice at days end. Most would agree dry is much more fun and well worth a shortened race over water & mud.

We gotta ramp up entry's and back down spending if rr karting is to survive this lovely economy.
